Charlie is an artist working from the small village of Ditchling in the South Downs.
Her work is inspired by the simple flowers and plants that she comes across in her local countryside. She creates oil paintings with a calm, neutral pallet that allow the subject to be seen honestly, in its pure state, creating moments where the viewer can wonder at the beauty of the subtle everyday.
