Working from her studio in Somerset, Rebecca is inspired by the simplicity and purity of porcelain. She pushes the boundaries of the material, working to the finest point possible before collapse. Ripped edges and roughly carved clay suggest a vulnerability, yet the considered, finishing application of pure gold lustre shows a stability and certainty within the piece. Rebecca regularly exhibits her work across the the UK.
